"For a long time" :: 12"x12" collage on canvas
The first pieces of a new series are up on my website - visit my portfolio to see The Journal Series. This is only the beginning of what will be an ongoing series, which I eventually want to turn into a gallery installation. In the meantime, these first works will be available for sale exclusively on my website through the beginning of 2007.
Each work is a creation born out of a journal entry, and throughout this series - for as long as it goes on - all unique entries will be used only once. In other words, a year from now, if I have created 200 works, there will be 200 journal entries out and about in the world. Each piece is signed and labeled with the date of the journal entry, where it was written and the title, if any. I imagine this series as a scattering of my thoughts and musings that will inspire and provoke thought.
I hope you enjoy these latest creations.
